I started my kigurumi today! Tomorrow it will be finished. It’s quite big.. in the width it’s like 188cm. I could sew it in so it would fit me. But I like it the way it is now!
Anyway. I’ll finish up the right leg, left arm, the hoodie, the small details on the hoodie and I have to figure out how to make an inner pocket without seeing it on the outside.
PLUS!!! I’ll go and take a picture of it woth and without me :3.
Btw. It was easy to make! I looked at a tutorial on dA with a green background. And where there are three kind of sizes on! I took the size from 160-175 cm. Since I’m only 150cm I should’ve taken size small;150-165 cm. (In height) but my focus was on the width! And it got quite big xD.
My materials; since I’m making an Eevee kigurumi, I used :
- Light brown polar fleece
- White, grayish polar fleece
- Felt; black, brown and white. (For the face on the hood.
- Black fabric to the ears.
- A zipper instead of buttons! And I sow it on the side so my kigu wouldn’t get an ugly opening on the front. XD
The ears, tale and the mane didn’t turn out great, but I’ll still use them! :3
I drew my pattern on newspaper.. so I had to put on tape on every side of the pattern I had cutted out, so it wouldn’t get damaged while I putted it on the fleece with pins. Also to reuse the pattern again xD.
But to make and cut out the pattern took me about 1-2 1/2 hours to do. Cutting out the fleece took me almost 1-1 1/2 hours. XD
I started 8am and finished my work at 7pm. 11 hours. With only one break to eat and pee xD.
